MoFuse Going Public
The rumors are true. MoFuse is on the verge of opening up.
The rumors are true. MoFuse is on the verge of opening up.
This has been in the works for quite some time now, but due to some bumps, we haven’t released it.
You can now use your own domains with your MoFuse mobile site! All you need to do to get this feature up and running is login to your MoFuse account, goto your site’s dashboard, and add the custom domain in ‘Settings’.
You’ll then need to add a CNAME entry into your DNS that points to your MoFuse mobile site URL. That’s it! A good example of this is:
http://m.daveberube.com or
http://m.readwriteweb.com
Thanks to Greg over at Mobivity for helping us out with this feature. We’ve been talking with Greg for a little bit now on partnering MoFuse with Mobivity, and I must say, his company has a lot to offer, check them out if your interested in SMS!

It’s here! You can now use your own domain with MoFuse!
To do this, goto your mobile site’s dashboard, and edit settings. In settings you can enter in your custom domain name (you must own the domain obviously) and add a CNAME entry into your DNS.
That’s it!
You shouldn’t see any more downtime with your mobile site. We’ve completed the upgrade!
If you notice any downtime it may be due to DNS latency in updating. Give it some time, and if you’re still having a problem contact us!
