T-Mobile Giving Sidekick Users $100, I wonder If…

458269961_6cbdba8e45Last week Microsoft lost all the saved data of every Sidekick user. See this story if you haven’t heard about this.

T-Mobile, the carrier that carries the Sidekick, has been taking the onslaught of the outrage from customers, since they are the ones who directly deal with them on a day to day basis.

To help quell this, T-Mobile has given every Sidekick user a free month of data service and a $100 in credit to use towards any T-Mobile service or product.

T-Mobile’s Early Termination Fee ranges from $200 to $100, depending on the length left in your contract with them.

I wonder if that credit can be used towards the Early Termination Fee of your contract with T-Mobile.
