Adding Videos is Easy!

Posted by Laura on June 30, 2011 at 5:44 pm

It’s easy to add videos to your mobile site.

All you need to do is grab the URL for the video, and insert the video URL to your MoFuse site in the appropriate field of an Image element or a content page or block.

Make sure you grab the correct link for your video:  On YouTube, for example, click “Share” to grab the URL of the video you want to add to your mobile site.  (Don’t use the URL for entire YouTube web page.)

You can even add a YouTube channel to your mobile site in the same way. To see an example of this in action, visit the mobile site of Martha’s Vineyard Radio: http://mvyradio.prohost.mobi

The great thing about using YouTube is not just that it is free, but YouTube also will detect mobile visitors accessing your video and display the mobile version for their device.

Posted by David on May 29, 2010 at 7:32 pm

We just finished launching the latest version of the search feature for your mobile sites. We’ve been rolling out the upgrade over the past week in pieces, and it’s now complete!

This version includes much better results with improved relevancy and it is fast! So fast that we’re showing you how long it took us to find your results!

This release also has some CSS changes to the search results page. They are minor changes that shouldn’t impact many, if any, of our users who have customized the CSS of their search results page. We recommend you check and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact support.

New Feature – Organize your Sites with Folders

Posted by Laura on July 30, 2009 at 5:04 pm

For those of you with many sites, you can now organization them within folders, under “Your Mobile Portfolio” on the left.

Click Create a New Site Folder to create and name folders for storing your sites.

Using the rectangles next to each individual site, drag and drop the sites into the folders, and to re-arrange the order in which they appear.
